A seasoned speaker and Counselor at the Good Shepherd Methodist Church, Kaneshie North-Circuit, Mrs. Adwoa Ussher has reiterated the need for young people to offer their bodies as a living sacrifice to God.
According to her, the human body is the temple of God and when the body is unclean, it becomes unattractive to God as He is Holy. She was speaking at a youth programme dubbed “Giving Back To God what He has given unto us” which was organized by the Ladies Night committee of the Good Shepherd Methodist Youth Fellowship in Accra as part of activities to commemorate this year’s Ladies Night Festival.
Mrs. Ussher noted that Christians are not only expected to give their money as offering; God needs their time, possession, as well as their body.
She stressed that it very important for Christians to evangelize as it one of the ways they can reciprocate God’s love towards mankind.
She explained that in giving, it shouldn’t be because one has to but rather it should be done cheerfully without any expectation, indicating that what one has was bestowed on to them by God.
Mrs. Ussher recounted the recent issues bordering the nation’s neighbouring countries stating that truly Ghana has been blessed abundantly with peace and added that these things are not by chance but the by the handiwork of God.
The Speaker who doubles as a Counselor advised the youth to always seek God first in their decision making so they don’t fall short of His Glory.
