Our Support Scheme

As members of the body of Christ with the aim of helping young people come to a personal faith in Jesus Christ, and providing opportunities to study, discuss and pray about our growing faith in Him, we acknowledge that we have needs that are not only spiritual, as we are equally affected by the environment we live in.
The establishment of the scheme is to help each other in whatever way possible to reach our full potential.
The Scheme is to SUPPORT the Less Fortunate among us. Whereas other schemes focus on needy but brilliant individuals, we look at the less fortunate.
This is because, we have realized over time and with experience that someone might not exhibit brilliance today because he/she was not privy to the needed opportunities as a child.
The commitment this Fellowship has taken up is to give such people a 'second chance' and it is an opportunity given, with no strings attached. As contained in the Modalities guiding the administration of this scheme, once it is agreed that an applicant should be supported, he/she will be supported to complete the programme of study or apprenticeship unless.
Currently, the Scheme is limited to only members of the Fellowship, due to limited funds. In other words, if you are not a member of the Fellowship, you cannot be a beneficiary. There are plans to expand the reach of the scheme as and when our resources are enough to accommodate a wider scope.
This does not however mean that, if an individual is recognized as needing support, we turn a blind eye to the person. We do well to get that individual to join the Fellowship and subsequently be eligible. Support will not be immediate; as such a person would need to exhibit qualities of membership.
